It is always best to keep the batteries in a cool dry place for maximum life span, especially if you are not using them right away. The shelf life for an Invisible Fence Power Cap battery is 7 years.

If you have installed a new battery that is not working, please give us a call as you may have a problem with your receiver or a wire break in your fence. You can always view our troubleshooting page for more infromation.
