Can my Invisible Fence® Brand Computer Collar® get wet? PDF Print E-mail
The Invisible Fence® Brand Computer Collar® is water-resistant, not waterproof.  Be sure to remove your pet's Invisible Fence® Brand Computer Collar® occasionally after he's been bathed or has been swimming. It'll help keep his neck dry and comfortable, and prolong the life of the collar's material.

In particularly humid climates or when the dog has regular access to creeks, pools, streams etc., water may get trapped in the Power Cap® battery compartment. The Power Cap contains a small o-ring that helps minimize water intrusion, but if you think the battery compartment is getting wet, take the Power Cap out. When the Power Cap and its compartment are dry, place the Power Cap back in the Computer Collar. Don't forget to put the Computer Collar back on the dog before he goes outside!!
